Hungarian Bible (Karoli Version)

Reformed, Evangelical and Baptist theologians, linguists and literary specialists have contributed to the latest version of the Károli Bible, which was commissioned by the Evangelical Media Foundation.
In working on this new revised version, the experts were primarily concerned with modernizing the text while remaining faithful to the old translation. Old expressions that are no longer used today have been left out or changed where possible, and at the same time they have tried to adapt the text to today's language usage. Where this is not felt, there are mainly two reasons: on the one hand, because they tried to stay close to the meaning of the original Hebrew or Greek text, and on the other hand, because they did not want to break away from the Károli text that had been fixed for centuries.
