Who we are

We are a Christian ministry that believes that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. We believe that it is living and active, capable of transforming lives. We are convinced that it is a story that needs to be heard by every individual and every generation. We want to make it available for free to everyone in Central and Eastern Europe — and beyond.

How it all started

In 1961, God touched the lives of a small group of missionaries who heard that Bibles were hard to come by beyond the Iron Curtain. People were desperate for this message of healing and hope, but it was simply not available. This had to change. People needed to have access to the Word of God. Thus began an underground operation of printing and smuggling Bibles into the Communist countries of the Eastern Bloc that would last until the regime fell in 1989.

Where God has taken us

Since the early 1990s, we have been openly aiding local missions in their ministry of spreading God’s Word. We have forged partnerships across Central and Eastern Europe, the Balkans and the Baltics, and are constantly pursuing further opportunities to take God’s message to those who haven’t heard it yet. Today, we provide Bibles and Bible-based materials in 20 languages across 30 nations. We share them with individuals and families, as well as churches involved in outreach, public schools and libraries, hospitals and orphanages, prisons and halfway houses—and anywhere else Bibles are needed.

How can INDIVIDUALS request materials?

If you would like to request free materials for yourself and your immediate family, you can place an order directly on our website. Go to the Books section and choose whether you are interested in regular or electronic books. Both are available free of charge and we also cover the shipping costs where applicable.

Electronic books can be downloaded right away. To request regular (hard copy) books, you will need to add them to your shopping cart and create a new account or log into your existing account at the checkout. You will be asked to enter your email address and a password and to fill in the required shipping information. (Please note that we can only ship to select locations as stated in our Terms of Service.)

After you submit your order, you will receive an automated email to confirm your order. Once the order is confirmed, our team can process it and send it your way as soon as possible.

Please note that since we provide all materials free of charge, we limit the number of books you can order. This means you can order only one copy of each title and each order is limited to a maximum of seven books. This helps us serve others too.

If you know of other individuals who might be interested in the books we offer, let them know about our website, so they can place their own order. If you would like to order a larger number of materials on behalf of an institution, please refer to the next section.

How can INSTITUTIONS request materials?

If you represent an organization—whether it’s a church ministry or a public institution (school, hospital, orphanage, prison, etc.)—you can submit a book donation request with our ministry. We are happy to partner with organizations in the countries we operate in (see our Terms of Service) and provide them with Bibles and other books free of charge on condition that these books are also shared with those they serve free of charge.

The book donation request form is available here and can be filled out online. Please be sure to tell us what materials you are requesting and in what quantities. We will also need to know what organization you are requesting these materials for and how they will be used. Lastly, we ask you to fill in the shipping address and the estimated date when the materials are needed.

After you submit the form, our representative will get in touch with you as soon as possible.

Please note that due to our limited resources and great demand all books are subject to availability.

How much do the materials COST?

We offer all materials free of charge (including shipping, where applicable). We do this because we want people to have access to the Bible. We want for all people to have a chance to read the Word of God for themselves. Our motto pretty much says it all: “The Bible. We want everyone to get it.™”

The cost of the books is covered by generous donations of Christians from across the world who share our passion for God’s Word. We are greatly indebted to them for their sacrificial giving and a heart for this ministry.

HOW LONG will it take for my order to arrive?

With only a small number of staff in Europe and thousands of new requests every year, there might be a bit of a wait before we can process and ship your order. It can take us anywhere between a couple of weeks and a few months so please be patient with us. We are doing our best and working to maximum capacity.

Individual orders
In case you’re unsure about the status order, you can always check it in the My account section of our website. If the order isn’t marked as completed, we are still working our way down a long list of orders submitted before yours.

When the order is completed, it means our colleagues have been able to verify all the necessary details, package the books you requested, and ship them. If, after a while, you still haven’t received the books, please check with your local post office.

Please note that due to economic reasons we do not ship individual orders via registered mail. This means that in most cases we cannot provide you with a tracking number.

Institutional orders
For institutional orders, our representative responsible for your area and our logistics coordinator will keep you informed about the status of your order.

When your order is shipped, you will receive an email with the details of your shipment. This will include information about the shipping company and the tracking number of your shipment.

How can I SUPPORT your ministry?

There are a number of ways you can support our ministry and we are equally grateful for each and every one of them.

We believe in the importance of prayer and we ask that all who are willing to contribute in this way offer prayers on our behalf. Specifically, we want to ask our Lord to lead us and guide our very step, to provide opportunities to spread His Word, and to provide all resources needed for this ministry. We also want to thank our Father for sharing His wonderful message with the world and for allowing us a part in this ministry.

If the Bible or any of our other books have impacted your life, we would love for you to share your testimony with us. Please let us know as much as you can share about your story. If you’d like, you can also attach a picture of yourself. This will help us share the news about the work we do with our sponsors and will help us carry on in this work.

You can also make a donation to our ministry, if you’d like. Our account details are listed below. Unfortunately, we cannot accept online donations at this point.
